Falcon Waterfree Technology

These days, I'm very impressed and interested in urinal. In Thailand, I have seen many urinals, for example, in the kindergarten where we have a long rail urinal with continuous water flush (They emit water to wash all the time or to say the least sometime), urinal with water flush (both manually and automatically when we finish urinate), and the cheapest way to urinate is to do it everywhere where nobody can see us .

In the states where I have been living for almost 5 years, I have seen the same urinal fixture as I explained above. Generally speaking, I see another different urinal in California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech or CIT), which is the same urinal falling under the second category, but whenever we finish urinating. The system will flush all the urinals no matter the urinal is in use or not (it's such a waste of water resource, isn't it? Can you believe that? Prabably, Cal Tech is a hi-tech school, so they don't mind about environment). As you can see, we have to use tons of liters of water to clean the urinal.

Recently, I found a new urinal in my university. It's called "Falcon Waterfree Technology" in which water is not use to flush and clean the urinal. It's bited my curiousity immediately, which leaded me to do research more on its official website.

For anybody who interested how it works, please feel free to fool around on its website. It contains the new technology information including what the are the main components of a new urinal, how can we save lots of money by buying 400-dollar urinal?,the price for the urinal. Why this new technology will benefit to ours? To answer this question you might or might not know in your mind that it will save tons of clean water, save lots of man power, save time, and so forth. If you feel that you are the person who is always skeptical in the new line of invention and will not bite any words from others' words, please do your study and look for it. Its website also provides the study from leading prestigious university.
The Cartridge

Inside The Cartridge

Basically, It uses the cartridge which works out as a funnel containing some chemical sticky fluid to block our urine to go reverse. Since our urine is lighter than water, it will pass through this layer of liquid and go down to the drain pipe. The sticky liquid also works out as a deodorant. The only maintainace that we need to do is to clean the fixture and change the cartridge 3-4 times per year (based on what it said on the website). I attached the picture of this urinal which may look no different from what we have now.

P.S. This might be one of the ways to start your own business by buying its patent to sell this product in Thailand. Go ahead and use whatever connections you have to get monopolistic power from Thai government to make more profit and be the rich businessman. Be the politishit!
